The city began a revitalization project in 2004 to transform the town into a classic New England city scene.  Previously, the town was still holding on to the style and architecture of its economic boom during the 1960s and 70s.  Brick sidewalks and decorative storefronts are being built and will update the look of the town.

East Haven is home to the Trolley Museum, as well, and it’s a great place to take kids on a fun and educational day trip.  Fort Nathan Hale, which was constructed both during the War of 1812 and the Civil War still stands as a historical exhibit.

East Haven is easy to get to and allows for easy transportation to anywhere else in the state.  Being next to New Haven, you can pick up I-91 and I-95 in East Haven.  Plus, you’re only minutes from the attractions of downtown New Haven, including world-class restaurants, theaters, and Yale University.
